In one of the most sensational crimes in goa, 43 year old Margao jeweller Swapnil Walke killed after robbery bid in shop in September 2020.
The jeweller who owned the shop Krishni Jewellers behind Grace Church, Margao was shot, and repeatedly stabbed by three robbers in an incident which took place in broad daylight, around noon. He died due to loss of blood.
He was the secretary of the All Goa Gold Dealers association
Though he was the son of BJP executive committee member Krishni Walke, it did not deter the robbers
